Playing on the 3G surface at Truro College, the team seemed to adapt to unfamiliar conditions but scored a splendid goal after just 6 minutes when a good move resulted in Rob Sharpe finishing with a delicate lob over the advancing goalkeeper.  That was as good as it got really as the team had to defend for much of the rest of the game.  The defence was solid for half an hour but then some defensive indecision saw the home side equalise.

The second half saw St Agnes score twice within 10 minutes and from then on there was no doubt about the result; indeed, the final scoreline flattered Grampound a little.
