Pre-season friendly
A talented visiting team made life difficult for Grampound and the scratch home team found it difficult to cope with quick attacking play. Grampound took the lead in the opening minute however. Wilf Donnelly, on his debut, was pulled back as he outpaced the visiting left back, and a penalty was awarded, duly converted by Greg Dunn. However, a spirited display by Grampound ensured that the team fought hard and could be pleased with their performance.
