Grampound again started with a bare 11 but the whole team stuck to its task and defended valiantly throughout, denying  the visitors too many opportunities and when breached, Paul Bond in goal blocked half chances well. Culdrose had the bulk of possession but failed to make clearcut chances.  Grampound had a few of their own, the most important one being when Alex Makepeace latched on to a rebound from the post and his rising shot from 10 yards hit the roof of the net.  Grampound had 25 minutes to hold out and did so without too many alarms for a good win.
