Grampound 0-0 Bodmin Dragons

Grampound started at a good pace and a couple of half chances in the opening 10 minutes might have given the team both encouragement and the lead but the visitors gradually began to assert themselves as the fi rst half progressed. Few further chances presnted themselves before the break and although Grampound looked comfortable when defending, the team was finding it difficult to make any possession lead to real pressure arounfd the visitors' penalty area.After the break, Bodmin continued to pose a threat but it was Grampound who had the better of both possession and chances and opportunities came and went without them troubling the visiting goalkeeper to much, although several Grampound players will be disappointed that their touch or shots on goal were not good enough to earn all 3 points.
Bodmin Dragons are a decent team and will cause real problems for many. Grampound's squad, re-shaped over the summer, should prove to be a handful for a lot of teams and were not happy that all 3 points were not won, but shared points was probably the right result on the day.
