Grampound 0-3 Lanivet

Pre-season friendly
Grampound had their last pre-season friendly and their most difficult match of the season against last season's Premier League runners up and did not disgrace themselves. Although Lanivet had a better proportion of possession in the first half their only real chance came when an error on the edge of Grampound'd penalty area resulted in a low shot in the last minute of the half from the edge of the penalty are that keeper Dan Riley was disappointed to not save. Grampound looked dangerous on several occasions but were unable to convert and the 0-1 score at the break was a little more than the visitors might have expected.The second half saw the visitors controlling possession a little better and Grampound finding it difficult to make clear cut chances. The game was not decided until fairly late on however, when a couple of defensive errors gave chances for lobs over Grampound's keeper and both were taken well.
