The less said about this match the better from Grampound's point of view. The team started slowly and never got going at any time during the game. Par always looked the more likely to score in the first half and although Grampound had a couple of acceptable chances, it was no surprise when the home side went ahead shortly before the break. Chances for Grampound were in short supply in the second half and it was not until the closing 10 minutes that they really threatened to score and were a little unlucky. However, by that time Par had scored twice more and the points were safely theirs.
