Grampound started with a very thin bare 11 and within 10 minutes or so were down to 8 fit men. Ben Taylor had to leave the pitch, Tony Ford and debutant Andy Ireland played on but were limping badly, barely able to move very much.  It was one way traffic after that and a lot of heroic defending kept the score reasonable until late on as legs tired.  Andy Ireland managed to finish neatly to give Grampound a late consolation goal but it was not really much of a contest.
