The scoreline was not what was wanted but not unexpected against a team playinfg well below their standard. In fact, Grampound took the lead with a well executed breakaway involving several players. Jamie Benjamin finishing off the move neatly. The visitors equalised soon after and went ahead before the break but did show their frustration at times.A couple of soft goals after the break put the result beyond doubt and as Grampound legs tired more goals went in. Grampound can be pleased with a performance that showed hard work and resilience to frustrate a dominant opponent for long periods with Dan Riley returning after injury to put in an excellent performance in goal.
