A good first half display against a very strong St Dennis team saw Grampound take the lead when Mike Bawden scored from the spot after Nathan Cooper was brought down as he surged past two defenders in the penalty area. Grampound were good value for their lead but the visitors pulled it back just before the break with a good finish. St Dennis were the better side in the second half and deservedly won although their goals all had a touch of good fortune about them.
