Grampound looked solid in what was a most uneventful game. Sticker passed the ball neatly, but only in areas that did not matter. Grampound, on the other hand, looked solid defensively but offered, like Sticker, very little threat up front. The winner came with only 3 minutes to go when Grampound, for once, did not close down a Sticker player on the edge of their penalty area, and the ball was hit past the Grampound keeper for the winner. Grampound had a good half-chance late on but could not finish and Sticker escaped with all the points.
