Saturday 12 September Grampound 2-3 Tywardreath(Duchy League Div 1) Grampound were on fire in the opening exchanges and should have been two up inside the first two minutes but Weeks managed to miss on both occasions. The visitors sorted themselves out but it was all Grampound until Tywardreath took the lead on 22 minutes against the run of play. A lecture from the referee to Dean Dunn was followed by the ref allowing a free kick to be taken quickly. He had not allowed Dunn time to get back to his man, though, who received the ball and slipped it inside to Morcom whose shot found the roof of the net. Minutes later, Weeks beat the offside trap to give himself a good chance and he beat the goalkeeper neatly to equalise. Two minutes later Steve Moorcroft jumped highest at the far post to head home a corner to put Grampound ahead. It looked as if Grampound would then go on to win but injuries to two key players, Gyn Ford and Stuart Harris, just before half time clearly disrupted the team's flow and in the second half it was Tywardreath who carried much the greater threat with the home team managing to give possession away far too easily and far too often. Midway through the second half Jamie Manuell headed the equaliser and with the game in stoppage time Martyn Jones struck to score the RBL winner.
