Grampound were much depleted from the previous week and again started very slowly, but unlike in recent weeks the opposition took full advantage and the result was never in doubt after just 8 minutes, by which time Grampound were three goals down. Lack of concentration gave away all three goals. The team did fight back and did show some pride, but it was all over really when chances fell to John Brooker and Ryan Orchard but were missed. Orchard, playing up front on his own, had another good game and could have had a couple of goals during the game.

The second half saw the hosts score a couple more goals that should have been prevented but the game petered out in a rather tedious way. Some rather inconsistent refereeing frustrated Grampound but the home team were well worth their win.
