Grampound started the game brightly but playing football on a bobbly pitch was difficult. Moorcroft in Grampound's midfield won lots of ball but chances were few and far between. Ryan Orchard was put well clear from a long clearance but failed to control the ball as he would have liked and Harris drove over the bar after Moorcroft had nodded a corner down into his path. At the other end, a Miles header at a corner looked to be in but Tony Ford made a spectacular save to push the ball round the post.

Both sides struggled to play football in the second halfand although Grampound had the bulk of the possession, few opportunities came about. Similarly, Probus rarely looked like troubling Ford in goal and in gthe end a share of the points was probably a fair result.
