Grampound began well and forced the visitors onto the defensive in the opening 10 minutes. On 15 minutes, a corner from the right saw Steve Moorcroft jump highestat the far post and he headed the ball past defenders on the line to give Grampound the lead.Tony Ford, filling in between the sticks, had little real work to do for long periods but saved well from a close range header on the half hour. With the Gramound defence in command, Week were gifted an equaliser when a defensive error gave Humbly the chance to equalise and he made no mistake.

The second half saw Grampound push forward in search of the winner, but Week StMary felt the same and the half produced a very open game,with the hsts leaving themselves vulnerable at times. Both teams had chances but could not score due to both goalkeepers responding smartly. Ryan Maker's chip from range came back off the bar to deny Grampound, but this was a well-earned point in the end.
