Atlantic Porth 3-1 Grampound

Playing against a very strong wind in the first half, I told the lads not to give away an early goal.  25 seconds after kick off we were 1-0 down!  2 minutes later, we were 2-0 down!  To be fair, we didn’t concede again until the last kick of the game late in injury time – but neither did we really test their goalkeeper.   Our build-up play was good as usual but we lacked the killer pass to really trouble their defence.  Lewis did get a goal back early in the second half but we just couldn’t create another clear cut chance to take advantage of our better football.  A disappointing result that leaves us next to bottom.
