(East Cornwall Youth League, Under 15s)

Football is a cruel game.  You dominate a top three team for 80% of the game in atrocious conditions and walk off having lost 5-0.  Forget the result.  We were magnificent.  Even their manager came across afterwards and congratulated the boys on the way they played.  The passing and movement was a joy to watch.  If we keep playing like this it will not be long before we get back to winning ways.  I was also very pleased with the way we got stuck-in today.  There was some crunching tackles.  However - we have got to stop giving away soft goals.  Once again ball watching and drifting is leaving too many opponents unmarked allowing them to walk into the box and shoot unchallenged.  There were some great individual performances today – Luke, Isaac, Jake, Lobby, Jonny, were all contenders for Man of the Match, but the watchers were unanimous in the decision to select Albert.
