Grampound 2-4 Biscovey

Some more very soft goals allowed Biscovey to gain an ill-deserved win on chances created, although the visitors looked to have a majority of possession in the game. Some solid defending by all the back four, but especially by Jake who led by example all evening, re-established the team back in the game after conceding early goals and but for some good saves by the visiting keeper Grampound would have been back on terms by half time. That did not happen, though, and in spite of conceding yet another poor goal soon after the break, Grampound battled back and looked the better team in the second period. Two goals from Jonny Ridd, the first into the top corner from 30 yards and the second a delicate chip over the advancing keeper, put Grampound back in the game but it was a little late and Biscovey managed to take all the points.
