Grampound Reserves started well at Delabole Reserves and midway through the first half they took the lead when Aaron Yeo deceived the keeper and his cross went right into the goal. A Yeo corner was then met by Ian Varnell for the second. Delabole got a goal back on the hour with a mishit chip, but Grampound pushed on and Kev Toms and Richard James both saw efforts come back off the woodwork. Mike Berry also had a good chance, but he made amends with a thirty-yard special and hit his second as he outpaced the defence near the end.
