St.Dominick Reserves have one foot in the Hillcrest House Cup Final after a three nil success over Grampound Reserves in the first leg of their semi-final tie. They made hard work of the victory spending a large part of the first half on attack but without breaking the deadlock as Grampound defended resolutely. Peter Jonas finally opened the scoring in the seventieth minute when he lobbed the keeper and ten minutes later an Adam Brettell shot was blocked and Jonas followed up to score. Nathan Holter scored the third on the stroke of time, which gives them a clear advantage for the return match.
