Saturday 15 October 2005 Looe Town 3-0 Grampound(Duchy league Div. 3) Grampound never got out of the starting blocks against a very committed Looe team. A number of incomprehensible refereeing decisions, especially in the second half, made Grampound's task more difficult and exasperated many players but in the end, Looe won because they were the better team on the day. A scruffy first half goal with the wind, and two breakaways in the second half when pressed back gave Looe the points. The second half saw better football from the visitors but included 3 yellow cards for Grampound players. One of these was awarded correctly, but the other two players can feel a little hard done by. |
